Kwabena Agyapong – Ken Ofori-Atta Should Step Down Based On What He Said Before

A Former General Secretary of the ruling NPP, Kwabena Agyapong has commented that Ken-Ofori Atta should step down as Finance Minister based on what he said two weeks ago. In an interview on Hardtruth shared by Joynews on Wednesday, 20th July, 2022 he was asked by the host that should the Finance Minister resign.

“I will think that on the basis of what he (Ken Ofori-Atta) said two weeks before to the whole country. Which is we will never go to the IMF, we are a proud country and have the resources. When you speak like that, you should look yourself in the mirror and say I got it wrong. Mr President thank you for the giving me the opportunity and I should standout.” Kwabena Agyapong said.

He added that “if you are a finance minister, you should be able to have your own imprint. But like I said the sweetness of the puddling lies in the eating. So this is where we have ended.”
