Another Minister in Trouble as Drivers Threatened to Block Road 3 Days to Prevent His Tour

Ghanaian politicians are likely to face the wrath of the citizenry they have taken for granted for a very a long time.

Just recently, the Majority Leader who doubles as the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Hon. Kyei-Mensah Bonsu, faced the fury of his constituents as they blocked the road and threw sachet water on him over deplorable state of raods in Suame.

Latest report gathered from skypowerfm indicates that angry commercial drivers have threatened to mess a three days tour of the Western Regional Minister. The drivers said, the will block the roads between today and Saturday to prevent any vehicle from going or coming.

The report further stressed that the commercial Drivers in the Amenfi East, Central and West have packed their cars for the next three days to register their displeasure over the poor state of the road.

At the same time, the vowed not to allow the Western Regional Regional Minister tours the the 3 Amenfi Districts which was supposed to commence today to Saturday hold. The commercial Drivers said they will keep the road blocked till Saturday.

A couple of drivers drivers that granted interview to Skyy News emphasized that despite the plea by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Amenfi East, Mr Fredrick Korankye, they will still keep the roads blocked.

The commercial drivers said, all effort to draw the attention of authorities in the area to do something about the road have failed.

Their actions will affect commuters from Tarkwa, Bogoso, Bordie and Manso to Asankragwa and the other way round.
