After the win of Justin Frimpong Koduah, Chairman Wontumi reportedly told the press that, the Ashanti Region will continue voting for the NPP even if they don’t embark on any development in the Ashanti Region.
He further echoed the Same thing after some artisans hooted at Kyei Mensah Bonsu. Wontumi urged the NDC not to be happy with development. This is because the Ashanti Region loves the NPP and will never reject it.
The National Democratic congress caucus sees the words of Chairman Wontumi as anti development. They want Otumfour Osei Tutu to summon him because politics shouldn’t let somebody speak against the development of the Ashanti kingdom.
