The member of Parliament for Suame Constituency, Honorable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, who doubles as the Majority leader of parliament and the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs has dropped some revelations about his future in politics.
Speaking on Neat FM this morning, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu revealed that he will not contest or run as MP in 2024 in the Suame Constituency. He added that he even took such decision after winning the 2020 elections.
Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu revealed that he has served enough as an MP and done a lot of good work for the good people of Suame. He is therefore leaving the seat for another person to take over from him in 2024.
According to him, his wife is part of those who advised him not to contest again. He added that his wife is so emotional and was very concerned and worried about what happened to his husband (Osei Kyei) in his own constituency.
