Coach Prosper Ogum To Take Over Accra Hearts Of Oak As Technical Director After Resigning Today

Coach Prosper Ogum has been contacted to take over Accra Hearts of Oak as a Technical Director following his resignation from Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko. Few minutes ago, coach Prosper Ogum is reported to have parted with the reigning champions. Reports have emerged of a takeover of Accra Hearts of Oak as Technical Director as the future of coach Samuel Boadu is hanging.

Reasons behind Prosper Ogum’s resignation have been varied as he is reported to have expressed displeasure over how things have been handled at Asante Kotoko. The manner in which the club has handled transfer post season has not sat down well with the former West African Football Academy coach.

At Accra Hearts of Oak, board member Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has been a firm admirer of Dr. Prosper Ogum. He is on record to have compared Dr. Prosper Ogum to the head coach of his own club Samuel Boadu. Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe also urged the Ghana Football Association to appoint Prosper Ogum as head coach of the Senior National team Black Stars of Ghana.

It is yet to be known if Dr. Prosper Ogum will remain adamant on his decision as some have urged management to talk to him to rescind his decision, especially as they will be venturing into CAF inter club competition in the soonest possible time.
