Asante Kotoko management member in charge of match and product promotion Patrick Osei Agyemang popularly known as Countryman Songo has revealed that reports from various departments have been submitted, of which the board of directors of the club have issued a directive to the management.
“We are preparing for CAF inter club competition. The coach brought his report and management submitted it to the board. The board of Directors have given a directive to management which is not for public consumption. They met and gave the directive so it is up to management to do it.” He told Asempa FM.
Patrick Osei Agyemang urged Asante Kotoko fans to keep backing the club financially.
“The supporters have been supporting and contributing for the club but they have to contribute more.”
He explained circumstances that do not allow management to keep a player at the end of the season.
“Is very difficult to keep a player. The sort of things they tell management, we cannot divulge it to the public. Some may come with family members to talk to management. We use money to run a club and if there is a deal that you can get money, you may have to.”
Asante Kotoko recently announced the departure of midfielder Mudasiru Salifu to FC Sheriff on loan.
