The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia’s GhanaCard versus Interchange comment has been outweighed by the Majority leader in Parliament, Honorable Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu.
The Majority leader has recently revealed that, the construction of Suame Interchange is set to begin in September 2022.
It can be recalled in recent times that, the Vice President in an admission made an honest preference for the Ghana Card over 1000 interchanges with reasons attached, which got massive Ghanaians peeved with such comment.
Meanwhile, Bawumia’s comment has been outweighed by the Majority leader, who has assured that, the Suame Interchange will soon be constructed.
This move by the NPP government seems to outweigh the perception some Ghanaians got against Dr. Bawumia’s preference for Ghana Card over Interchanges in the country.
The Suame interchange will help ease traffic tension around Suame and some other areas in Kumasi.
