The Member of Parliament for the Suame Constituency, Honorable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, who doubles as the Majority Leader in Parliament and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, has been disgraced seriously by his constituents. Today, Osei Kyei paid a working visit to his constituency, and his constituents, mostly Suame Youths, clashed with him and started shooting at him. These youths were also identified as workers at the famous Magazine.

“‘We voted for you but now we have regretted it. Here in Ashanti, there is no breaking the 8. We will vote against you people or we will not vote at all.”, they chanted and hooted at the leader.

It will be recalled that the NPP led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, had promised that he will transform Kumasi Magazine into the number one industrial hub in the country. Also, he had promised them a massive boost in infrastructure in that area. However, nothing has been seen in these areas despite the fact that they voted massively for the NPP
