According to a video sighted on UTV, some residents were seen very angry as they expressed their bitterness to the security officers. In the video, you can see how the residents clash with the military officers for arresting illegal miners at Obuasi. Shots were fired to make sure the residents stop distracting the security officers.
According to the residents, they do not understand why the military officers arrested their colleagues for illegal mining. According to a report, 36 illegal miners were arrested at Obuasi and this made the youths angry as they clashed with the military officer at Obuasi.
