It was a very successful national delegates conference for the New Patriotic Party as the event went well and ended in a peaceful manner, several new faces emerged but the New Patriotic Party won at the end of the election.
However, things might not look easy in the Party internally as you might think as senior members of the party feel some newly elected executives are not fit enough to match that of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
The incumbent General-Secretary of the party, Hon. John Boadu lost by a small margin to Frimpong Kodua in the just ended national executive elections.
There were rumours of alleged bribery of delegates by some aspirants but those were just small issues.
In an interview with “Asempa” media, the Ashanti Regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party says the party needed someone competent enough to match the NDC’s choice but the election of Frimpong Kodua is no match for the NDC’s Asiedu Nketia.
