The popularly known Ghanaian political analyst and senior lecturer at the University of Ghana have recently set the records straight over John Boadu’a unexpected defeat to Lawyer Kodua in the just ended National Delegates Conference.
Speaking in a recent interview with TV3 Network, Professor Gyampo took the privilege to give a brilliant reply when asked if John Boadu deserved to be maintained as the NPP’s General Secretary and not otherwise going into the 2024 elections.
“Another factor that worked against him was his shambolic handling of the party’s internal parliamentary primaries that led to several in opposition and caused a lot of disaffection within the party. It turned the party to lose many seats. What is of utmost importance to Ghanaians is their living conditions and electing somebody to a position in a political party does not necessarily improve the living condition of Ghanaians. So, for me that will mean nothing”, Professor Gyampo emphatically revealed.
