Asiedu Nketiah Is Set To Unseat Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo From His Position – PK Sarpong

Popular writer for the ruling NPP, PK Sarpong has asserted that, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah will unseat Samuel Ofosu Ampofo from his seat as NDC National Chairman. He alleged that John Mahama is not happy with the leadership style of Ofosu Ampofo and hence has allowed Asiedu Nketiah to contest him.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Monday, 18th July 2022, he wrote that Asiedu Nketiah is dead-set to oust Elder Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo from his position as National Chairman. 

He alleged that scores of people aligned to Ofosu-Ampofo have sought audience with the incumbent General Secretary with the view to urging him not to contest him. 

“Asiedu Nketia’s position will be hotly contested by Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, Fifi Kwetey and Peter Boamah Otukonor. 

Many are wondering why Mahama is allowing a contest between General Mosquito and Bro Sammy Photoo since they both seem to belong to his camp.”

According to PK Sarpong, indications are that, John Mahama is unhappy with the leadership style of Ofosu-Ampofo. He is too lethargic to lead the NDC into 2024. He believes a new face in the person of Asiedu Nketiah as National Chairman would help the cause of the NDC. 

“The bad blood between the feuding factions will soon escalate into a full-blown war since neither side is ready to step aside.” PK said.
