Transfer News: Official Confirmed Deals as of July 17th, 2022 -Matthijs de Ligt Joins Bayern Munich

On the seventeenth day of the summer transfer window, here are officially done deals as of July 17th, 2022.

Matthijs de Ligt

The Dutchman’s move to Bayern Munich is understood to be a done deal. Joined Juventus in 2019 for 85.5m, it is reported the 22-year-old defender has agreed to personal terms and is set to sign a contract that runs through the summer of 2027.

Matteo Brunori

Joined Juventus in 2020 for €2.9m from Pescara but never made the first team spot, the 27-year-old forward has reportedly sealed a permanent transfer move to lower-tier Palermo for €2m -where he spent last season on loan helping them secure promotion through playoffs, scoring 29 goals in 43 appearances.

Jerrad Branthwaite

As part of the club’s developmental plan of training youngsters elsewhere, Everton has confirmed loaning out the English central defender to Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven.

The 20-year-old loan deal is expected to be due on June 2023 with no buy option included.

Mattia Caldara

Had the opportunity to play for Serie giants Atalanta, Juventus and AC Milan -the 28-year-old central defender per reports has joined Spezia for an undisclosed fee from Serie A champions AC Milan -ending his four-year spells at the club.

Wladimiro Falcone and Kristoffer Askildsen

Preparing for Serie A experience once again since 2020, Lecce is thought to have acquired two players from Sampdoria.

Falcone, goalkeeper joins for an undisclosed fee likewise with Askildsen, midfielder on a season-long loan deal.

Lucas Leiva

Formerly with Liverpool from 2007 to 2017 before sealing a transfer move to the Italian capital, the 35-year-old Brazilian midfielder is thought to have rejoined childhood club Gremio this summer for an undisclosed fee from Lazio.

Khaled Narey

Emerged as the top assisted player in the Bundesliga II last season with fourteen assists at Fortuna Dusseldorf, Greece outfit PAOK has reportedly splashed €1.5m to sign the German winger.

Narey, 27, joins on a four-year deal, expected to assist them in their Europa Conference League qualification next season.
