The male organ has many functions. It is use to release urine from the bladder, also for intimacy and a passage way for semen. There happen to be some disorders that affect the organ as we know, some of which are temporary conditions and others which need immediate attention. These disorders are likely to occur from birth, and when a person is growing.
The following are some of the disorders that affect the male organ.
Balanitis
It is the inflammation of the glans (head) of the penis. The most common cause of this disorder is poor hygiene in uncircumcised males. male organ is not properly cleaned underneath the foreskin, bacteria, debris, dead skin cells and sweat can build up and cause inflammation.
Epispadias
It is a birth defect which occurs as a result of the urethra not being fully developed. This hardly happens making it a rare birth defect, and can happen to both male and females. But most common in males.
Penile Cancer
Cancer of the male organ. It almost always begins in the skin cells of the penis. About ninety five percent of all cancer of the male organ, develop from squamous cell. It grows slowly and can be cured if found early.
