Going To The IMF Is In The Interest Of The Ghanaians – Dan Botwe

The Minister For Local Government and Rural Development, Dan Botwe reflects on Ghana going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a bailout.

According to Dan Botwe, people are criticizing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for seeking assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) whiles to date no one can come out and offer an alternative that will be used to generate revenue in this hard time.

Dan Botwe said the decision of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a bailout was very difficult to take but due to the interest of the Ghanaians, they made it.

Dan Botwe also said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government policies will be persuaded but they will make sure that going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is in the interest of the Ghanaians.
