Today on the 15th of July, 2022, President Akufo Addo vindicated himself in the presence of one of the most outspoken Members of Parliament, Honourable Okudzeto Ablakwa. The MP has criticized the President for a very long time now but it seems the President silenced him today.
President Akufo Addo was happy to be in the Volta Region to attend the 10th anniversary of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS). The first gentleman of the land had the opportunity to commission a newly built Hall, Sokode Hall. A hall that was built under his administration.
President Akufo Addo was seen smiling and laughing all the time. This clearly shows that he is proud of the things he is doing for his people and country.
The President after commissioning the hall also had the opportunity to inspect an ongoing $60 million Phase Two Expansion Project of the University. It is a project that he cut the sod in September 2021.
The University of Health and Allied Sciences 10th anniversary was graced with a number of personalities. Aside President Akufo Addo and some of his ministers, the Member of Parliament for the people of North Tongu Constituency Honourable Okudzeto Ablakwa was present. The popular politician was seen quiet and sitting in the crowd observing the event and what the President came to do.
In his own presence the President commissioned one of the largest hall in the country at the moment.
