MPs Could Not Control Themselves As The Fomena MP Describes Kojo Oppong Nkrumah As The IMF Minister

On the forefront of defending the government every now and then after Nana Addo directed the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta to start the official engagements with the IMF is Kojo Oppong Nkrumah. One of the Ministers who were most criticized is the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for the Ofoase Ayirebi constituency.

Today, the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Honorable Andrew Amoako Asiamah, caused a massive stir on social media after he called his own colleague from the NPP Fraternity, an IMF minister.

“Very well, the IMF Minister has sat down”, he said.

This statement from the 2nd deputy Speaker of Parliament made everybody laugh even Members of the Minority caucus.

“Since you mentioned Kojo Oppong Nkrumah’s name, I do not know if you have realized this. But of late, he has been talking about the IMF program. I do not know if he is coming to give us a brief on IMF or what. This is because he looks like a chief negotiator of the IMF”, Cassiel Ato Forson also funnily remarked.
