“You Are Being Mischievous” ; NDC MP Tells Vanderpuye After Making A Comment About His Broken Arm

There was a bit of drama in parliament after NIi Lantey Vanderpuye made a ‘funny’ comment about one NDC MP appeared in parliament with a broken arm.

During the correction of votes and proceedings in parliament today, an NDC MP stood up and revealed that his name has been marked absent but he was in parliament on Wednesday.

Immediately he stood up to make this comment about being marked absent, the speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin noticed that the MP’s arm seem broken. The MP made it clear to the speaker that he had an accident and it resulted in that.

After telling the speaker of Parliament what happened to him, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, who is the MP for Odododiodioo constituency made a funny comment about the MP’s arm. “You fall from what?” was the comment that came from Honorable Vanderpuye. Everyone in parliament laughed at his comment.

The NDC MP also laughed a bit and told the speaker to ignore such comment from Nii Lantey Vanderpuye because he is being mischievous.

Mr. Speaker, with all due respect, just ignore Nii Lantey Vanderpuye. He is being mischievous. May you not hear him” he said.
