The twenty five member public accounts committee (PAC) led by Hon. James Klutse Avedzi continued its four day public hearing on the report of the Auditor General today.
The Committee started its work on tuesday to consider the auditor-general’s report on the public accounts of Ghana Ministries, departments, agencies MDAs and other Agencies for the year ended 31st December 2019.
The ministry of health headquarters, Pantang hospital, Kaneshi polyclinic, national blood service ( NBS), Agona west municipal health directorate, Kibi municipal health directorate, Cape Coast teaching hospital, center for plant medicine research, Abura Dunkwa hospital, Ashaiman polyclinic all under the ministry of health.
They were part of those who appeared before the committee. In addition, the controller and accountant generals department, ministry of , children and social protection and its agencies were present at the hearing.
The agencies include regional social welfare office, Secondi and social welfare vocational training center at Koforidua.
The last to appear before the committee were some agencies cited in the report under the ministry of food and agriculture.
They include the MOFA headquarters, vetenary services directorate, MOFA Bimbilla Office, and Sunyani municipal agric directorate. The committee is expected to enter the four-day public hearing tomorrow.
