According to Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah statement. The large number of ministers appointed by the president is not much needed because most of them are idle. They don’t do anything and as a result, they are causing financial loss to the state.

He stated that he is ashamed the majority leader is now telling this secret about the president while he knows definitely those plenty ministers under Nana Addo government wouldn’t yield any results yet they went ahead and approved all of them.
Johnnie Hughes indicated if the majority leader has now realized then there is nothing stopping him from advising the president to reduce the number of his ministers. Because he was part of the committee that approved the ministers.
