Prominent lawyer insists Ghana police planted a stranger with a “poisoned” bread in his cell

According to ‘the fourth estate,’ the Ghana police service has admitted to planting a stranger in the cell of a prominent lawyer while in police custody. The bizarre, aspect of the whole incident was that this unknown person was given a piece of bread in the cell and he was secretly working with the police department.

The motive of the police to have operated in such a weird manner remains a mystery and one would wonder if this follows the standard protocol of operations. However, documents received by the fourth estate revealed that the police deliberately sent their agent to the cell purposely to extract information and gather information about the suspect.

The distinguished lawyer was arrested after the police alleged that his comments on Facebook “if this E-Levy passes I will do the coup myself, Useless Army” amounts to treasonable offense. After 34 days in the cell, he was released to stand trial.

Lawyer Oliver Oliver Vormawor who referenced the fourth estate site claims that the bread the guy had was poisoned because he cried when they asked him to eat it but the police deny the allegation.
