There have been a lot of people online who use famous people’s names to create a social media account so that they can use it to scam people or use it for other things that will be beneficial to them. And they always seem to succeed if the owner of the name of the account is not aware. However, Ghanaian football legend Asamoah Gyan has caught a fake Instagram account using his full name to scam people. If you look at the screenshot that I’m going to share in this article below, you can see that the fake account has over a hundred thousand followers and the account is using Asamoah Gyan’s full name.
Thank God Asamoah Gyan finds out quickly for more people to not fall victim. Asamoah Gyan writes, “kindly ignore this account that is impersonating me. Unfollow this account immediately or block the account.”
He also serves notices that everyone should be aware of any Facebook account that uses his name because he is not even on Facebook.
