The Ghana Police Service led by Inspector General of Police George Akufo Dampare has confessed and confirmed in the Ashaiman District Council Court. According to them what Oliver Vormawor Barker said about them is true however there are some few lies in it.
They accepted that, truly they brought a very big loaf of bread which had a mobile phone recorder stuffed in it to Oliver Barker Vormawor’s cell. However, there was no knife attached as presented by Oliver Vormawor Barker.
Again, they intentionally planted a well built man in the cells of Oliver and Barker just to monitor his conversations in the cells.
Oliver Vormawor Barker had dragged the Ghana Police Service to court over some human rights abuse. He alleged that the Police brought one thick tall man into his cell. The Police accepted this but labelled it as part of their investigation strategies to gather information from suspects.
