Black Stars Of Ghana To Do Well In World Cup With The Inclusion Of New Players – Sulley Ali Muntari

Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari has expressed optimism in the Senior National team Black Stars of Ghana but added that things must be put in place for a successful World Cup. If things are placed in order, Ghana will fare well in the upcoming global showpiece.

”I think with the inclusion of this new players that are coming, the technical team, the right people, definitely if things are put in place, we can do well in this World Cup.” He told GTV Sport +.

Sulley Ali Muntari noted further that the arrival of Inaki Williams and other players is not a new practice for Ghana.

“Players with Ghanaian ancestry backgrounds being called to play in the national team is not something new.”

Ghana Football Association, last week, announced the arrival of Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams, Southampton defender Salisu Mohammed, Tariq Lamptey and others into the Senior National team.

These players have been identified as qualify materials that could augment the team ahead of this year’s FIFA World Cup. They bring a stiff competition into their respective positions and will love to enjoy playing time, hence will work hard for it. Diverse opinions have been poured to welcome the decision and announcement.

These players could earn their maiden call up in September for Afcon qualifiers.
