Love became the winner of the maiden edition of Kel Di Asa Extra after she beat stiff competition from Maame and Dee Baby in the grand finale.
The competition which assembled past winners and participants of the popular Di Asa programme from Season 1 to Season 5, battled it out week after week which eventually saw only 12 contestants going to the finals for the ultimate prize.
Incidentally, Love who won the first edition of Di Asa (Season 1) etched her name into the record books by winning this one too, also called Champion of Champions.
Maame, who placed 4th in the Season 4 edition of Di Asa was the first runner-up while Season 4 winner Dee Baby rounded up the top 3.

Di Asa is powered by Atinka Media Village and it’s an initiative designed to empower plus-size women (particularly market women) to feel confident about themselves and be integrated into functional activities in the society without prejudice.
Moreover, the organisers are creating awareness about the dangers of obesity through vigorous dance and exercise schemes for the contestants in the competition to help them shed some calories and be in good shape.
