Ghanaian musician, political activist, and social media influencer Kwame A Plus poured out his disappointment concerning the government taking the country to IMF. According to A Plus, he stood on his toes to campaign for this government because of their good policies in their Manifesto.
According to him, he had a strong belief that NPP was going to help the country because of the policies they revealed in their manifesto but that is not what is happening now. He feels like NPP has deceived many Ghanaians. They spoke against IMF when they were in opposition. Before the E-levy bill was passed they made it clear it will solve everything without going to IMF. But that is not going on now.
Afia Schwarzenegger who was also part of the NPP during their campaigns also shared her views on the IMF. According to her, we are sitting on money so why should we still go for a loan it means there is something wrong with our leaders. Though she campaigned for NPP she has regretted it because of what the government is doing now. They have failed her and the country as a whole.
“In all they mean NPP lied to them”.
