Black Stars Players Charged To Contribute $10,000 Or $5000 For Players That Will Be Dropped

Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association Ibrahim Sannie Daara has tabled an audacious proposal to Black Stars players ahead of the final call up for this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Ibrahim Sannie Daara believes it will be a good gesture on the part of players if they give money out to players who will be disqualified from the final squad for World Cup.

“It will be nice for the captain of the team Andrew Ayew to say that hey guys, let’s contribute. If it’s $10,000 each or $5000 each, and give it to them. I think that it will be nice, good gesture.” He told Luv Sports.

Ahead of the final selection of players for 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, some players will be dropped by head coach Otto Addo even though they may have part took in the qualifiers. Despite contributing their quota to the success of the team, the arrival of some players like Inaki Williams, Salisu Mohammed, Tariq Lamptey and others will mean some players have to make way.

Putting money together – as has been suggested by Ibrahim Sannie Daara – and delivering it to those to be left out will be extremely better to curb apathy.
