The Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Oforiwaa Queen, has sent a word of caution to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking to Kwame Nkrumah Tikese on Okay FM morning program, ‘Ade Akye Abia’ on Saturday July 9, Jennifer says the NDC should watch the things they say today, because it will come back and hit them right in the face in the near future.
Touching on the the IMF, Jennifer says the NDC should not forget that the debt they left when Former President John Dramani Mahama took the country to the IMF was paid by the NPP when they came into power to the extent that IMF even wrote to the government to come for another support. However, she says the president turned down the offer and told the IMF that Ghana will come when we need it.
However, she says it was rather unfortunate that COVID-19 which was a global issue hit us and the government because of how he cares about Ghanaians gave us free food water and even light.
After COVID-19, when the country was trying to stand on its feet, then the Russian\Ukraine war also came in National Cathedral, Jennifer says the NDC is making it look like an evil project that the government is doing, but she says when the mosque was built the time of the Former President John Dramani Mahama though he might not have funded it but she is sure he played a role before the coming of those who took it upon themselves to build it.
However, the NDC is painting a bad picture about the National Cathedral, and saying all sorts of things but she is advising that they watch what they say today, because it will come back and hit them right in the face in the near future.
