I have To Run To Cote D’Ivoire I Can’t Stay In Ghana Anymore – Popular Journalist Reveals Why

The high cost of living in Ghana has become a problem most Ghanaians talk about. According to most analyses, the standard of living in Ghana is high because of the high taxes we pay on goods we import to the country without patronizing made-in-Ghana goods.

In today’s news, a popular journalist from Citi FM and TV Caleb Kudah shares a painful story of the amount he paid as taxes on items he purchased. According to Caleb, he couldn’t check the items because of the situation he was facing at the moment but the sales personnel prompted him to check the amount of taxes he paid.

After he checked the receipt he found out the total amount of the items was 410.90 cedis but he paid additional taxes making it sum up to 490.00 cedis. According to Caleb, he has never experienced this kind of heavy tax in his life before. He concluded that he can’t continue to stay in Ghana again he will travel to Côte d’Ivoire.
