Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Information Minister, has been criticized by Ghanaian actress and social commentator Lydia Forson for defending corruption in his ministry.
Corruption is a dirty word, but the NPP government’s nefarious operations have been often defended by a former journalist who used to confront politicians engaged in corrupt conduct on the radio.
On Thursday, July 7, 2022, she took to Twitter to vent her frustrations with the Information Minister, which Modernghana News picked up on.
Kojo Oppong moved from grilling corrupt politicians to leading politicians to defend the indefensible, but I still believe this.”

“He’s the finest thing for NPP and the worst thing for us,” says one of her tweets.
I only deleted my tweet cuz I’m not in the mood for some of you.
But I still stand by my belief that Kojo Oppong went from grilling corrupt politicians,to now leading politicians to defend the indefensible!
He’s the best thing for NPP and the worst for us.

A disgruntled netizen, however, has dared her to do the same thing if she has the nerve to do so openly once the NDC takes control.
According to Miss Forson’s reaction, she does not owe anyone an explanation for her critique or do so for recognition.

I don’t owe you or anyone to be honest. I don’t do this for validation from anyone, neither do I take threats lightly. Bless.
