Another Serious Accident Occured At Apirede In The Akuapem North. Driver In Critical Condition.

The fight against accident in Ghana has been a very difficult one to deal with. For the past few months a lot of accidents cases has been recorded in Ghana. When drivers are not ready to put a stop to unnecessary overspeeding and overtaking on the highway we will continue to see what we are seeing today.

Latest updates from Apirede in the Akuapem North district indicates a terrible accident involving a Kia Bongo truck.

The incident happened on the late hours of Sunday 3rd July 2022.

Preliminary investigation suggest that, the affected bongo truck with registration number GE 7936-Y loaded with furniture and food stuffs was heading towards Apegusu from Koforidua, had its brake failed after descending a small mountain. The truck veered off the road and ran into a ditch on the side of the road thereby hitting a tree.

These caused the frame of the vehicle to trapped and badly injured the driver. However no death was recorded.
