If I was not afraid of the law, I would have called for a coup d’etat – Oliver Barker-Vormawor

Oliver Barker-Vormawor has reacted to Gabby Otchere’s defense of the government’s request for IMF assistance. For over six months, Gabby, the founder of the Danquah Institute and a prominent New Patriotic Party (NPP) member, argued that the minority leader and NDC lawmakers obstructed government policies to raise money for the country through levy and tax.

The government was forced to make a choice and request a bailout from the International Monetary Fund after being caught between frustration from Parliament and public disapproval (IMF), he said during an interview section hosted today, June 2nd, by Samson Lardy Anyenini.

Oliver Barker-Vormawor In his reaction to Gabby’s statement, shared in a tweet on his verified Twitter page, he said as a law-abiding person who does not want to breach the law, he would have advocated for the overthrow of the current administration and the deprivation of its authority.

But, he continued, it will be accomplished by removing the NPP from office in a democratic manner.
