Mother to musician Ogidi Brown, who’s well known as Artise Maame has called out Ghanaian musicians who rarely release songs.
Artiste Maame, speaking in a video shared by her son on Facebook made mention of Dr Cryme, Yaa Pono, Opanka, Flowking Stone, Gasmillla, Kwaw Kese, Samini, Pappy Kojo, Bosom Pyung, Ogidi Brown, Edem and Joey B to drop song.
On Yaa Pono, Artiste Maame said;
“Yaa Pono the beef is too much, bring songs”.
She also stated that it’s been a while since she heard from Flowking Stone.
“Samini now that you’re in school who should sing the song,” she asked.
She added that her energy goes down when the songs are not coming.
According to Artiste Maame, Ogidi Brown has stopped producing songs. She said her son should keep the songs coming if not he will come and meet her in Italy.
As hilarious as she is, she end with a song by Boney M. titled ‘Rivers of Babylon’.
