Talented Ghanaian Afropop/Afrobeat musician, Dennis Nana Kwaku Dwamena, widely known as Kidi has recounted how his family pressured him to elevate his music career by giving him an ultimatum of one year.

Speaking in an interview on the ‘Deep Throat Convo” on Twitter Space with @OleleSalvador, the sensational singer revealed that he faced a lot of pressure from his national service job, his record label, and his family while juggling a corporate job with his music.
Kidi revealed that he had wanted to be the one to change the face of Ghanaian R&B music but unfortunately, his record label, Lynx Entertainment had other plans for him as they wanted him to dilute his R&B sounds with the indigenous sounds in Ghana.
He revealed that he faced so much pressure from his work as well given that he had to always report to work in the morning, close and come back to the studio and prepare for the next morning after arriving home late.
However, he was given an ultimatum of one year to succeed in his music career, or else he will be sent back to school to further his education.
Well, we can say that Kidi never disappointed his family as he has managed to discover his true self and elevated his music career to higher heights.
