Uncountable police killings and brutality in the country, have reached unprecedented levels in recent times. The way and manner the police go about their modus operandi is getting scarier as several innocent people have perished in bizarre circumstances. Ironically, these men in black uniforms entrusted to protect the masses are the same sending them to their early graves.
Ghana as a country seems to be sinking and those in their comfort zone are criticizing activism. Until fire reaches out to their door front, they can’t even sit down to decide which part of their house outlets will be safer to escape.
Captain Smart, the senior journalist and morning show host has this day revealed the true identity of those Police Officers who acted badly to the demonstrators. Speaking on the whole issue the gentleman disclosed that these officers who exhibited unprofessional conduct were party boys in police uniform.
Captain questioned how the recruitment exercise is done and the basic problem is when you recruit illiterate party boys and JHS graduates for training. What kind of policing do you expect?
The vociferous media man continued by saying that since this government took over there been been countless times the police service has either blocked demonstrations by giving very flimsy excuses on why these demonstrations should not come on. The demonstration is not a crime, it is a fundamental human right we all enjoy. Allow people to vent in the ascribed way by the constitution.
