They Can Go To Court; Sam George Serves Notice After Refusing To Use Mobile Money For 9 Weeks

The member of parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency, Honorable Sam Nartey George has dropped some revelations this morning which may seem surprising to many.

Speaking on Good Morning Ghana show on Metro TV, Sam George revealed that it has been nine weeks since he used mobile mobile services. He added that government cannot force anyone to pay E-levy because no court in the world can force any Ghanaian to pay the e-levy. He also added that most Ghanaians are on his side. He clearly stated that he is proud to be part of those who don’t want to be pay e-levy.

“I can proudly and boldly confirm that this is 9 weeks since I haven’t done mobile money. I am a proud Ghanaian citizen. It is a silent protest and apparently, we are in the majority”

“That one you can go to court and get an injunction, it won’t work on us. You can’t force me to do mobile money.”

Sam George revealed that persons who need financial support from him do come to his house for the money. He added that he sometimes give the cash to someone to give to the people in need but he never sends them electronically.
