Some informations gathered has it that, the Ghana Police Service Personnel have fired tear gas into the Arise Ghana Demonstrators who hit the roads of Accra today to demonstrate against the high cost of living in Ghana.
According to the information retrieved from myjoyonline.com the police fired series of Tear Gas on the demonstrators while on the road around the Kwame Nkrumah circle. This happened after the demonstrators clash with the Personnel of the Ghana Police Service in the course of the demonstration.
As a result, several people got injured as they were running for their lives. Some of the Youths as resorted to throwing stones and other objects against the police and destroyed some of the vehicles parked on the street which is said to belong to the police.
The Police have also arrested three persons in connection to the chaos who are throwing stones at the police and destroying properties.
As at now, no casualty has been reported as the security agencies are working hard to put the situation under control.
