Prince Yankson, a noble student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, took charge before others did, to start an initiative, where he partners with other organizations to carry on various donations to deprived institutions across the country.
Also, ‘reaching out to the less endowed..’ as the vision and mission of Prince Yankson (P.Y) Initiative Ghana states. As a part of his vision, he aims at helping students achieve higher academic standards by making investments and assisting the less endowed students to influence society and become leaders in their communities, Ghana and the world at large.
Mr. Prince Yankson donated a good deal of books to NANA KOBINA GYAN PRIMARY AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL earlier today, earning adorations and respect from every single individual from the school, the school’s principal.
Mr. Prince called this gesture the ‘P.Y INITIATIVE GHANA BOOKS DONATION’ to the above said basic school. The donation was funded by the partnership of Book Aid International and P.Y Initiative Ghana.
According to Mr. Prince, the first library project will be for this school, as plans are far advanced to renovate an old classroom into a fully furnished library by next year, hopefully.
Knowing the popular quote “Education is the key” I’ll end here by asking; who is this young man, and what will he do next?
