“I Was 11-Years When I First Held A Microphone To Sing In My Church”-MOG Reveals

Ghanaian gospel singer, Nana Yaw Boakye Yiadom, affectionately known in showbiz circles as MOG has recounted his first experience when he held a microphone to sing in his church.

Speaking in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show, MOG stated that he first held a microphone to exhibit his talent when he was just eleven years old at his church.

He narrated that he used to be an instrumentalist in his church but one faithful day, the worship leader could not attend church services so out of frustration on who would take over, he was given the platform to lead the church in worship and he did amazingly well.

MOG stated that through his first experience, he was encouraged to take his singing talent seriously, and through that, he had an encounter with the legendary gospel hitmaker, Nii Okai who agreed to groom and nurture his talent.

He stated that he ws mentored by Nii Okai for almost eight years while he was joggling his school with his music.

In other news, Ghanaian movie star, Eikem Kumordzie “The Taylor” has opened up on his failed marriage with his ex-wife, Pokello Nare, and what caused their separation after being married for four years.

During an interview with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Elikem Kumordzie confessed that he was unable to exercise a lot of patience and tolerance with his ex-wife and that he believes caused their separation after four years of marriage.

He recounted that he and his ex-wife used to have breakfast at a restaurant when a couple walked in to engage them in a conversation. Elikem stated that he inquired how long the couple have been married and they responded that they have been married for 50 years.

He proceeded to ask them about what has kept them going all this while and they responded that they exercised a lot of patience and tolerance just to prolong their marriage life.

Touching on his failed marriage, Elikem Kumordzie stated that he was unable to exercise these virtues in his marriage and that might have influenced the divorce between him and Pokello.
