Sarkodie is one of the best musicians in Africa. It is usually said that greatness attract a lot of attention. It is however not surprising that he is usually on the lips of many Ghanaians.
Readers can recall that the CEO of Sarkcess Music, Sarkodie, revealed during a viral interview that he is not happy being captured on camera giving money to his fans. According to Sarkodie, a video of him throwing money at people reduces the respect he has for the receivers. Many Ghanaians have supported the claims of the renowned musician as they have also mentioned that he is not a stingy person.
Interestingly, Whitney, has made some wild comments on the subject matter. The Entertainment pundit, who has remained relevant for more than 15 years, has indicated that for every rumour, there can be an element of truth in it. She opined that Sarkodie is perceived as a stingy person by many music lovers and this can not be ignored. Her comments were supported by Arnold who also explained that he saw Sarkodie taking a 50ghs note for some traditional dancers and later changed the notes and rather provided 30ghs to these dancers.
Whitney also explained that the fanbase of Kwabena Kwabena would not like money to be thrown at them. She however explained that Sarkodie and Shatta have almost the same kind of fan base who are significantly made up of younger people. She stated that if the fan base even make such statements about Sarkodie on twitter, then he needs to listen to his fans and do the needful.
Arnold Baidoo explained that he did not see anything wrong about throwing money to the fans if that would solve the problems of these fans. He appreciated the fact that Shatta Wale throws money at fans and politicians also do that.
