Accra Hearts Of Oak is set to take on Bechem United in this season’s grand finale of the MTN FA Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Hearts’ legend, Bernard Don Bortey before kick-off has officially apologized to Hearts of Oak and its supporters for his involvement in the Asante Kotoko coronation as GPL Champions and his comments after the ceremony.
Don Bortey was seen with the flag of their rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko during their Coronation game against Elmina Sharks.
He went ahead to criticize Hearts Of Oak and how they have felt with their former players in recent years as compared to Asante Kotoko.
Bortey also went public and said he regrets not having played for Asante Kotoko and will not allow any of his children to play for Hearts Of Oak.Â
Below are images of Don Bortey kneeling in front of the Hearts Oak supporters to apologize for the unfortunate comments that went against them.Â
