Currently, the senior national team the black stars of Ghana is still finding its feet on issues concerning the clinging of the African Cup of Nations (AfCON) trophy after appearing at the finals of the tournament on numerous occasions.
According to the history, Ghana has won the AfCON trophy on four different occasions making them one of the most successful team as far as the continental tournament is concerned.
The first AFCON trophy won by the senior national team of Ghana was lifted in the year 1963. Coincidentally, it was the first time the team was appearing at the continental tournament to show why they can do.
Furthermore, the team made their second record after winning the AfCON trophy again two years after winning their first AFCON trophy on the first attempt.
When is Ghana going to win another trophy again. Ghanaians are willing to see another trophy badly.
