Lawyer Kpebu Finally Reveals Common Sense Should Have Been Applied On Covid-19 Account, Read Details

A popular Ghanaian Lawyer, Martin Kpebu has finally revealed bold secrets about the Covid-19 accounts made by the finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta on the floor of Parliament this week. He revealed that common sense should have been applied by the Akufo-Addo government.

While speaking on News File on Joy News, Lawyer Martin Kpebu boldly revealed that it was wrong for the finance minister to account for the Covid-19 funds. He revealed that common sense should have told the government that the proper accounts would have come from the Covid-19 trust fund instead of coming from the finance minister.

“ By law, the accounts for Covid-19 funds should be ready within two months after the end of the year. The accounts should have been sent to the Auditor General’s Office. So what all this means is that common sense should have told the government that these accounts should have come from the Covid-19 trust fund directly. It makes sense. So you don’t come and give accounts and leave some out. I’ve heard that they now want the trust fund to give more details. The whole process looks disjointed.” Lawyer Martin Kpebu boldly revealed this on Joy News.

Do you agree or disagree with Martik Kpebu on his comments about common sense? Do you think that was too harsh?
