Speaking in an interview with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, the talented actor intimated that since he is an Ewe, he is not that fluent in the Twi dialect, hence it will be very difficult for him to earn a role in any Kumawood movie given the standards of their jobs.
Elikem said that there is some sort of segregation between the Ghallywood actors and Kumawood actors and language happens to be the only barrier breaching the gap between these two industries, hence a collaboration will be quite impossible.
He also added that the likes of Nana Ama Mcbrown are versatile and can earn movie roles in both Ghallywood and Kumawood but the majority cannot work together due to the language barrier.
He further the Ghallywood industry players are more into depicting the western culture while Kumawood is more focused on displaying the authentic Ghanaian cultures and languages which makes their movies very veritable.
However, Elikem Kumordzie added that a collaboration between the Ghallywood industry and the Kumawood movie industry will be much appreciated and quite interesting since both industries will be willing to demonstrate their prowess for the success of the film.
