2021/22 MTN FA Cup final game to kick-off at 5:00pm on Sunday

This Sunday’s MTN FA Cup grand finale will kick off at 5:00pm local time organizers of the event have confirmed.

Defending champions Accra Hearts of Oak will look to retain the trophy they won last season when they face Bechem United on Sunday.

The game will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi to climax the 2021/22 football season in Ghana.

The FA Cup Committee of the Ghana Football Association, GFA, has announced that the game will be an evening kick-off time in the Garden City under the lights of the Baba Yara Stadium.

The game will be shown live on television on the StarTimes Adepa TV channel worldwide as the curtain is brought to an end on what has been an eventful football season in Ghana.

Hearts of Oak who won the double last season, will look to end this campaign on a high with victory in this crucial encounter against the Hunters.

They lost the Ghana Premier League, GPL title to their arch rivals Asante Kotoko in the just ended top-flight campaign, and, they cannot afford to lose the knock out trophy as well.

Bechem United on the other hand, finished the GPL campaign in third position and, they also kept an unbeaten home record throughout the campaign.

They will look to finish this season with a silverware to crown what the club believes has been a successful campaign.

Sunday’s FA Cup final game in Kumasi therefore, promises to be a tough job to call and, observers will look keenly on the likely outcome of this game.
