Nsoatreman FC Owner, Honourable Baffour-Awuah, has expressed zone one in the just ended Division One League as the most competitive in relation to other zones, two and three.
Honourable Awuah, who acknowledged earlier tough matches between the two top sides prior to their play-off believes the final game depicted the toughness of zone 1.
“If you compare the points that our two teams (Tamale City, Nsoatreman) had in the league as compared to other league, zonal winners.
You’ll notice that Nsoatreman and Tamale City had more points than our friends in zones two and zone three”.
“It tells how competitive our zone was.
Unfortunately, I’ve not had an opportunity to watch teams in other zones play. Judging from the points the two team’s gathered, perhaps I may not be far from wrong if I conclude that way”.
Nsoatreman FC defeated Tamale City 2:1 after 120th minute at the Accra Sports Stadium to join Kotoku Royals and Samartex for next season’s Ghana Premier League.
