Video: Finance Minister Storms Parliament With “Fat” Documents To Answer Questions Filed By The MPs

The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, after days of procrastination, has honored his promise to make it to Parliament today to answer to the questions filed to him and also account for the COVID levy. In a video circulating, the Minister was spotted with his aide, who held his bag full of documents.

Earlier today, parliamentary proceeding begun with the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, presiding sitting. However, the number of Members present was not . After some minutes of waiting, Speaker Bagbin had to suspend sittings and he set the time for reconvening to 11:00.

The reason for the suspension of sitting could be the absence of the Finance Minister then or it could be the lack of quorum to conduct parliamentary business.

However, we are all expectant that the Finance Minister will not make any revelation that increase the already “tensioned” atmosphere emanating from the funding of the national cathedral.

What are your expectations?
