There are several governments who have ruled Ghana. Each one of them has tried their best to control the rate of accident in our dear country. Yet, we cannot control the rate of accident because of the carelessness of some drivers. Another disastrous accident has happened on the Accra to Kumasi highway. Let’s read through what happened in the Eastern Region.
This barbaric news happened at Oframase near Nkawkaw, a few kilometers from Kumasi in the Eastern Region. I say, this news occurred on Tuesday night as a head-on collision between a commercial bus carrying passengers and an articulated truck.
Reports gathered to show that the two attempted to pass by a stationary Rhino truck carrying charcoal in the middle of the road and ended up crashing.
After the accident, passengers in the immediate front seats of the commercial bus sustained serious injuries and had to be rushed to the hospital.
We saved thanks to the police as many people who sustained injuries has admitted to the Holy Family hospital at hospital at Nkawkaw. Research I conducted shows that no one is dead.
I also pray to God that His might will protect those in serious conditions to recover. Drivers should be careful because they carry the lives of our brother’s and sisters.
