Speaking in an interview with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Lydia Forson stated that it is very typical of Ghanaians to use God to politicize issues just to have ways to carry out their personal interest.
She said that most influential people in the country mostly use God to take advantage of people, thereby subjecting them to uncomfortable situations in order to gain leverage over them.
The outspoken social media commentator also stated that Christianity is not about getting people gathered in the temple but about how we treat people fairly with equality, thereby encouraging good relationships among human beings.
She believes that the definition and requirements of every Christian have been ill-motivated to suit people’s interests instead of focusing on treating individuals with respect and good intention to please God.
