I do not believe in breaking the 8 mantra – Nii Ayikoi Otoo.

Renowned lawyer and former Attorney General and Minister for Justice Nii Ayikoi Otoo have expressed an opinion I believe many party supporters won’t be happy with. According to reports on asaaseradio.com, he said that he doesn’t believe in breaking the 8 mantras being trumpeted by his party people. He rather believes that the party can win power in 2024.

According to the NPP national chairman hopeful, the only barrier standing between them and victory in the next general elections is their ability to proclaim the good works they have done. He bemoaned that the current communication apparatus of the party is very poor. They should be able to communicate effectively to Ghanaians about their achievements. That is the only way they will retain power.

He is of the view that party communicators must be empowered so that they can be effective. Ayikoi Otoo is contesting for the national chairmanship position of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) with six other candidates. They are Stephen Ayensu Ntim, Stephen Asamoah-Boateng, Sammy Crabbe, Akwasi Osei Adjei, George Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah and Professor Christopher Ameya Akumfi.
